Winds of Change

Is this the end? Is it the beginning... Or the end of the beginning ?

Well for whatever it is, the word's spreading now. Five IITians, join hands to form a political party. But wait, they are not just IITians... Post Grads from the best universities too...

What it takes is not money and the zeal to rob the mob, what it takes is the craving to serve the nation and a sense of vengeance for all the looting that has been done so far... to go and take the family run business head on !

Complete Story

And hopes :

And it's whispered that soon
If we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason.
And a new day will dawn
For those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter.

House Full : Rang de Basanti.

An oppurtunity was well utilized by releasing Rang De Basanti on the Republic Day.
There were house-full shows and the queues... people bursting out on a relatively warm afternoon to watch the movie. Even I tried to get my hands on the tickets, but the sole reply I got was that of housefull !

Six shows between 4 pm to 10 pm ... all housefull... missed the movie.

Have added it to my weekend POA.

Another first from Google

Another first from Google ...

Google Talk spurns off another revolutionary move in the VoIP wars. Yesterday Google announced on their Official Blog that Google Talk will support 'Open Federation'.

This to the uninitiated means that using Google Talk, one can talk to any other IM using the XMPP services. Its just like you can dial from your Mobile Service Provider another user with a different MSP.

Google has once again lived up to their reputation of being the best innovators. No wonder if AIM, MSN and Y! feel the heat.

Kudos Google Talk Team.

The things that shouldn't have been...

The things that shouldn't have been...

The Annual Update...

Yes, 2005 has passed by, and most of the media houses have come up with their updates of how year was and what the year was. The year, that was. Lets sum up.

Jan 2005 : Hic. Hic. Heck. Hectic.
Feb 2005 : Des - paration. Des - ires. Des - tiny.
Mar 2005 : Pink. Pink Floyd. Floyd.
Apr 2005 : Coming back to life.
May 2005 : Encumbered by ambition
Jun 2005 : Rise again. Joined race for CAT.
Jul 2005 : Vagabond in me. Change of base.
Aug 2005 : Autumn. Yellow. Leaves. Wind.
Sep 2005 : 23 Years.
Oct 2005 : Accident. Injury to buddy.
Nov 2005 : CAT. and dogs and rats.
Dec 2005 : Wait for results. No work. Aimless.

And now so that the results have come and I have not made it, yet again.
Another year ahead. And another targert. And this time, I am furious with the hunger for success...

So there were things that shouldnt have been but happened. And then there were things that shoulnd have been that didnt happen. And then there were things that shouldnt have been and didnt happen. And there were things that should have had happen. And they did happen. Isn't it the great ball dance which we call life?

That's life (that's life), that's what all the people say
You're ridin' high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June

I said that's life (that's life), and as funny as it may seem
Some people get their kicks stompin' on a dream
But I don't let it, let it get me down
'cause this fine old world, it keeps spinnin' around

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race

That's life (that's life), I tell you I can't deny it
I thought of quitting, baby, but my heart just ain't gonna buy it
And if I didn't think it was worth one single try
I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself layin' flat on my face
I just pick myself up and get back in the race

That's life (that's life), that's life and I can't deny it
Many times I thought of cuttin' out but my heart won't buy it
But if there's nothin' shakin' come this here July
I'm gonna roll myself up in a big ball a-and die

And yes, I god-damn mean it... Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

Laughing it off...

Thought I'd go back home.

It was locked, my sweet god damned flat mate had locked the backdoor entry, and went for a vacation...

I tried to sleep outside, wasn't very cold. Heck! Mosquitoes.

Tried waking up landlords, but I fear his 0.22 calibre.

Thought I'd go back to office.

And voila, big drops of rain, intensifying every passing second started to pour down of the sky which was clear a few minutes ago.

Guess there ain't no sleep for me...

First failure of 2006

Sleepless since the past 54 hours. And chances are that I might not be sleeping very easy. Its foggy, and the fog seems to have hindered my vision into the future. I can't see through much... Just that there lies ahead in the road an obstacle.

Failed to get calls from IIM-C.

A lot to plan ahead, the new year is just the symbollic excuse to do so.

Feels like I'm knocking on heaven's door. 2006. Ahhh...
