Another first from Google

Another first from Google ...

Google Talk spurns off another revolutionary move in the VoIP wars. Yesterday Google announced on their Official Blog that Google Talk will support 'Open Federation'.

This to the uninitiated means that using Google Talk, one can talk to any other IM using the XMPP services. Its just like you can dial from your Mobile Service Provider another user with a different MSP.

Google has once again lived up to their reputation of being the best innovators. No wonder if AIM, MSN and Y! feel the heat.

Kudos Google Talk Team.

one thing that i like about orkut iis that it is close circuit, less chances of anyone fakin identities.. now that google has acquired it, lets hope for a lively interface.
